The Role:
The DRM Specialist ICDRM project will be responsible to lead the project management and ensuring technical guidance to the implementing partner. She/he will ensure the quality implementation of the project, donor reporting, and documentation. The jobholder will identify the essential requirements of organisation system development, help partners to improve those systems and build technical capacity of the project staff members throughout the project implementation process. She/he will maintain compliance, program quality standards, administrative and financial requirements of Plan International and donor. She/he will be responsible in promoting collaborative relationships, networking, and advocating project approaches to concerned authority, departments, and like-minded organizations at the divisional level. The jobholder also will be responsible to support Plan International Bangladesh in emergencies as/when required.

What we are looking for:
For this role the applicant must have Masters’ Degree in Social Science (Masters in Disaster Risk Management is preferred). S/he must have at least 3-5 years experiences in DRM in any reputed development organization with proven technical expertise preferably in similar position. Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in order to present information quickly and clearly to a variety of audiences, including the ability to communicate effectively in English. Facilitation skills and experience in delivering training related to community Based DRR and CCA. Must have financial and budgeting skills and well understanding on programme cycle: planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating development projects.
